This book is all about motivation, what it is, and what drives it. It starts out with a brief explanation of reasons why people are unmotivated and reasons why you shouldn’t succumb to those reasons. There is then a chapter on how to determine what your excuses for procrastination are.
My favorite part of the book is the section that lists things that can help you become more motivated. This includes music, looking your best, and even spirituality.
There is also information on setting goals, holding yourself accountable for reaching those goals, and also suggestions on how to reach those goals, whatever they may be.

I am sure many of us have had those days where you just can't seem to start anything. You have an idea but don't know how to act on it and it can really drive you mad. Sometimes you blame yourself or others around for you for lack of motivation, when really you just need a jump start. There is a lot of advice out there, but people get themselves to fast and then they run out steam way to quickly. Slow and steady wins the race!
With this ebook you can learn to slowly get yourself working towards becoming more motivated and making a better you. There are great mind tricks to help put your mind on the path to working hard. Remember to set goals for yourself that are realistic so you don't set yourself up to fail from the beginning. If you want to be highly motivated, you have to first understand what is behind your lack of motivation. This quick read will help you get to the heart of your lack of motivation so you can turn it around and overcome your procrastination.
I seriously tried to read this because I am doing a workshop on procrastination and thought I might get one or two good pointers from this. I can't even finish it because the way it is written is making me feel like I'm in junior high and one of my friend's prissy aunt is lecturig me. Reading it is ANNOYING to me. This is not enjoyable. I don't suggest it. There are plenty of less preachy, more inventive books on this subject.
Lately, I was very very very lazy and I seem to have lost with laziness and procrastination. I ended up cramming for school papers, exams, reports, and presentations. I am so thankful that I bumped into this book before our finals, as I needed to get things done. I love how the author stressed the idea of setting out goals and completing them.
While I wouldn't necessarily describe myself as lazy, I struggle to get back on track in times of stress--or when I allow life to interfere with my usual routine. This book is full of fast, easy, and actionable tips to focus on the tasks at hand. It also helps with prioritizing, procrastinating, and letting things slide.
It was just what I needed to get out of my current slump!
This book contains great insight to motivation and how to get it to work for you. The author goes over subjects like the causes for lacking in motivation, problems with procrastination, little things in life that can be your motivation, ensuring you are open to change and how consistent goal setting can aid you in maintaining your motivation without burnout. Good way to find that little boost you may be looking for.
